About the race
The Father's Day Run for Rotary will be held at Newhall Park in Concord. The event features a 5K Run and a free Kids 400m Run for children 7 years old and under. The 5K is a looping course beginning and ending near the playground. Medals are awarded to the top three runners in each age group.
Registration proceeds go to the Clayton Valley/Concord Sunrise Rotary Club, supporting projects for Mount Diablo Elementary and Diablo View Middle School Parent Faculty Clubs. A packet pickup will be held the day before the event at Sports Basement in Walnut Creek from 2pm to 5pm, where registrants can receive a 20% shopping discount.
