36th Fathers Day 5K Run : Rehoboth Beach, DE (June 21, 2026)
The 36th Fathers Day 5K is an in-person 5K event held in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, at the bandstand area on 1 Rehoboth Avenue and the boardwalk. It is part of the Seashore Strider Summer Series and the Seashore Strider Triple Crown Series. Participants who complete all three Triple Crown events qualify for an additional award.
Distances:
- 5K Run - 3.11 miles
- 5K Walk - 3.1 miles
The course is described as a flat, fast loop/out-and-back route from Rehoboth Avenue and the boardwalk toward North Shores, turning at the entrance to Gordon's Pond. Chip timing will be provided using the Chronotrack B Chip system and event timing is managed by Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc.
Registration is available online and by mail; tiers include a $30 early registration through June 7, $35 pre-registration through June 20, and a $40 race-day fee. Registrants by June 15 are guaranteed a t-shirt. Proceeds benefit the Seashore Strider Youth Cross Country Team and a donation will be made to the Cape Henlopen Food Basket. Awards include overall male and female, masters (40+), top three in 16 age groups, and walk medals for top five male and female finishers.
