NYCRUNS Father's Day 5K takes place on Sunday, June 21, 2026, in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens, NY. The event distance is 5K. Course and location

The loop course runs through Flushing Meadows Corona Park and includes multiple turns and park landmarks. Mass transit options include the 7 train or LIRR to Mets-Willets Point Station; a recommended drop-off point is 31 Meridian Rd., Corona. Parking is limited.

Race logistics and amenities

The Festival Area handles bib and shirt pick-up, bag check, restrooms, and post-race refreshments. Bag check requires a single clear bag; a clear bag (18" x 24") will be provided if a bag is not clear. Portable restrooms will be available. Water is provided on course, with water and Gatorade at the finish. Post-race food includes a bagel, pretzels, and an apple. Race tech shirts are distributed on race day only and sizes are not guaranteed.

Entry, bibs, awards and policies

Start corrals are pace-based and assigned by letter (AA-F); assignments appear on the bib. Bibs can be picked up on race morning with a QR code; NYCRUNS members may receive mailed bibs if registered in time and to a U.S. address. Results will be emailed and posted online. Awards are given to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers overall by gun time, and to the top three in each age group by net time: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. The event has a no-refunds, no-transfers policy; members may withdraw for race credit. Strollers and dogs are not allowed. Handcycle and wheelchair athletes are not advised to register due to the number of turns. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
