About the race
The Father Bullock Charity Race takes place in Sharon, MA on Sunday, June 13, 2027. Presented as the 21st Annual Father Bullock Run/Walk/Shuffle, the event is organized as a charity race and community occasion in memory of Father Bullock.
Proceeds from the race support several local and educational causes. Named beneficiaries include Facing History and Ourselves, the SHS Alan Conway Scholarship, and the Sharon Pluralism Network. The site for the event lists a range of community and business sponsors that support the race.
Father Bullock was a Catholic priest and volunteer who died in 2004. He served in leadership roles with Facing History and Ourselves and is associated with the Father Robert W. Bullock International Fellows Program, which the U.S. Department of Education has recognized as a model program.
The event description highlights its community focus and charitable purpose. It is presented as a Sharon tradition and identified by organizers as a run, walk, or shuffle rather than a single competitive format. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
