Faster Pastor Jeff's Run for St. Jude
Faster Pastor Jeff's Run for St. Jude is the second annual charity running event on September 12, 2026 in Start, LA. The event comprises a Fun Mile walk/run, a 5K race and a 10K race. Proceeds support St Jude Children's Research Hospital and its mission to cover patient treatment, travel, housing and food costs for families.
Course details note that the 5K and 10K use an out-and-back route beginning at the Start Baptist Church parking lot, extending onto Charleston Drive and Webb Hill Road, and returning to the church parking lot. The Fun Mile takes place on Owl Loop across the church parking lot and is also an out-and-back course. All participants in the Fun Mile, 5K and 10K receive a finisher's medal.

Online registration opens March 11, 2026 and closes August 22, 2026. Listed registration fees are $40 for the 10K, $35 for the 5K and $25 for the Fun Mile. Packet pickup is scheduled at Start Baptist Church on the Friday before the event, with additional pickup available on the morning of the event. Limited race-day registration may be available and goodie bags with shirts and finisher medals are not guaranteed to late registrants.
Awards for the 5K and 10K include overall male and female champions plus age division awards for 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
