Faster Pastor Jeff's Run for St. Jude
This event is a community charity run in Start, Louisiana, supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. It comprises three separate out and back courses that begin and end at Start Baptist Church parking lot or nearby loops around the church grounds.

- 10K - 6.2 miles
- 5K - 3.1 miles
- Fun Mile - 1 mile
The 5K and 10K routes proceed from the church parking lot onto Charleston Drive and Webb Hill Road before returning to the church parking lot. The Fun Mile uses Owl Loop just across the church parking area and is also an out and back course. All participants in the Fun Mile, 5K, and 10K receive finisher medals. The 5K and 10K also award overall male and female champions plus age division awards in these groups: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and up.
Online registration opens in March and closes on August 22, 2026. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the event at Start Baptist Church fellowship hall and again the morning of the event. There will be limited race day registration and goodie bags with shirts and medals are not guaranteed for registrations after the online close date.
