Faster Pastor Jeff's Run for St. Jude is a charity running event taking place at Start Baptist Church, 892 Charleston Drive, Rayville, LA 71269, on September 12, 2026. Net proceeds support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The event includes a family-oriented Fun Mile walk/run, a 5K, and a 10K, and is open to runners and walkers.

The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back course that starts in the church parking lot, continues onto Charleston Drive and Webb Hill Road, then returns to the church parking lot. The Fun Mile uses Owl Loop across from the parking lot and is also an out-and-back course.
All participants in the Fun Mile, 5K, and 10K receive a finisher's medal. The 5K and 10K also present overall male and female champion awards and age-division awards for both sexes in these groups: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and up.
Online registration opens March 11, 2026 and closes August 22, 2026. Packet pickup is scheduled for September 11 and the morning of September 12 at Start Baptist Church fellowship hall behind the Worship Center. Limited race-day registration will be available; goodie bags with shirts and finisher medals are not guaranteed for late registrants. Entry fees are $40 for the 10K, $35 for the 5K, and $25 for the Fun Mile.
