About the race
Faster Pastor Jeff's Run for St. Jude is a community fundraising event held at the Start Baptist Church parking lot. The event offers three measured courses and uses out-and-back routings that begin and end at the church parking area or nearby loops.
Distances:
- 10K : 6.2 Miles, out and back via Charleston Drive and Webb Hill Road
- 5K : 3.1 Miles, out and back via Charleston Drive and Webb Hill Road
- Fun Mile : 1 Mile, out and back on Owl Loop across the church parking lot
All participants in the Fun Mile, 5K, and 10K receive a finisher's medal. The 5K and 10K also recognize overall male and female champions and award medals in age divisions: 19 and under; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; and 60 and up. Entry fees are listed for each distance in the event information, and limited race-day registration may be available; goodie bags with shirts and finisher medals are not guaranteed to late registrants.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Start Baptist Church in the fellowship hall behind the worship center on the day before the event and again on the morning of the event. Proceeds from the event are designated for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital mission. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
