Event Details
The Fast & Fiorini 5K is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Wytheville, Virginia. The event is organized to support the Open Door Community, with all proceeds going toward its mission to provide housing and food assistance.
Events and Registration
The day features three separate events:
- 5K Run with a registration fee of $30.
- Kid's Fun Run with a registration fee of $15.
- Kid's Fun Run (under 5), which is free to enter.
Course Route
The 5K course starts at the Open Door Cafe on 650 W Main St. The route goes through the town of Wytheville, crosses Main Street, and continues down Reed Creek Road, passing over the Trestle Bridge.
Post-Race Festival
Following the running events, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the Open Door Cafe will host the co-branded Brews and Bands festival in partnership with the Wythe Arts Council. This festival includes local musicians, food and drink, and activities for children such as obstacle courses and bounce houses.
Amenities and Awards
Refreshments will be available at no charge at the start and finish line of the 5K. Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
