Aid stations are provided at set mile points for the 50k and 100k, with shared stations for the 25k and one aid station for the 10k; stations are stocked with electrolyte drink, water, Coke, PB&J, salty snacks, candy, and fruit, with hot food at select locations. This is a cupless race; runners must carry at least one water bottle or cup because no disposable cups will be available. Drop bags are permitted for the 50k and 100k and will be transported to the Cliffview turnaround and returned to the finish area the same day. Packet pick-up is available at the Start/Finish area on the Friday before the race and on race morning. Headlamps or flashlights are required for the 100k; 50k runners are advised to bring one. Parking is across a grassy field with limited lighting, and the Virginia State Parks day parking fee applies unless the entrant has a valid pass. 100k finishers receive a buckle. Awards are given overall and by age group, including male, female, and nonbinary categories. If registered after April 1, a race shirt will not be provided.
