Aid stations are provided on the 50k and 100k courses and are shared with the 25k at specified mile points. The 10k has aid stations at roughly mile 2 and 4.2. Aid stations are stocked with electrolyte drink, water, Coke, PB&J, salty snacks, candy, fruit, and hot foods at select stations. This is a cupless race; runners must carry at least one water bottle or cup because no disposable cups are available. Drop bags are permitted for 50k and 100k runners and will be transported to the turnaround and returned to the finish area. Headlamps or flashlights are required for the 100k. Parking is across a grassy field and a Virginia State Parks day parking fee of $7 applies unless the visitor has a valid pass. Awards include overall and age-group placements for male, female, and nonbinary categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
