Farmington Memorial Walk & Kids' Fun Run
This event in Farmington supports The Cove’s free programs for grieving children and families across Connecticut, including the Family Program, Camp Compassion, the Virtual Program, Summer Program, and professional development.
The day features a 2-mile Memorial Walk along Memory Lane and a Kids' Fun Run that includes medals. Family-friendly activities are part of the program. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $30.00 for the Memorial Walk and $10.00 for the Kids' Fun Run. Registration opens in late June or early July for the two events and closes at noon on September 11; registration reopens on the morning of September 13. The price increases for day-of registration.
Participants who raise $30 by September 3 may request a custom memorial sign with a photo to be placed along Memory Lane. Event t-shirts can be selected during registration but are not guaranteed for registrations received after August 23.
