The Farmington Founders Festival LOC Credit Union 5k Color Run takes place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in Farmington, Michigan. It is part of the Farmington Founders Festival.
Race Details
The event is a professionally chip-timed 5k run/walk. The course winds through Shiawassee Park and Downtown Farmington. The start is on Power Road at Shiawassee Park, and the finish is on a path within the same park.
Four color stations are positioned along the route, but there is space for participants to bypass them if they prefer. There is one water stop on the course, and water with post-race refreshments will be available for all participants.
Registration and Inclusions
The registration fee includes a race t-shirt, a finisher's medal, and a commemorative race bib. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by July 5, 2026; after that date, shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Awards and Timing
Awards are given for overall male and female winners. Age group awards are also presented for both male and female participants in the following categories: 12 and under, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Results, including accurate chip times and placement, are provided live via text message after finishing. The race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
