Farm Frolic (Daufuskie Island)

The first annual Farm Frolic takes place on May 2, 2026, on Daufuskie Island. The event is organized as a community fun run and walk to support an island non-profit.

The event offers the following distances:

1 mile fun run/walk
5K fun run/walk

The course begins and ends at the Daufuskie Community Farm. The route runs through Daufuskie Island scenery. Participants receive a run T-shirt and admittance to an afterparty on the farm. The afterparty includes post-race hot dogs, refreshments, and photo opportunities with farm animals.

Transportation to the island is not provided. Arrangements can be made via public ferry, Island Head charter, or Lowcountry Drifters charter. Personal bikes may be carried on the ferry for a fee. Golf carts can be rented from Mungeon Creek Cart Rental for use on the island.
