Farish Trail Race
Farish Trail Race is a set of trail running events held at Farish Recreation Area in Woodland Park, Colorado on May 22, 2027. The program includes multiple distances on marked trails and a youth fun run. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K. The first 200 finishers receive a free gift.
Registration fees listed for the main races are $65 for the Half Marathon and $50 for the 10K and 5K. The Kids Run is free. Registration for the main races opens October 9, 2026 and closes January 1, 2027; Kids Run registration closes on race day.
Packet pickup is offered at multiple locations and times. One pickup is at the USAFA Outdoor Recreation Center on May 20; base access ID is required only for that pickup. Additional packet pickup is scheduled at Farish Recreation Area on May 21 and again on race day prior to the event. This event is open to the public and there will not be an ID check for access to the race itself.
Course layouts are provided separately for the 5K and for the 10K and Half Marathon, with the Half Marathon run as the 10K course completed twice. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
