Fall Fun 5K and Trick or Treat Trot

• 5K - professionally timed scenic trail course along Big Walnut Creek
• Kids Trick-or-Treat Trots - short loop around Creekside Fountain and a longer loop for elementary-age children

The event takes place on October 31 at Creekside Plaza Fountain, 117 Mill St, Gahanna, Ohio. It combines a professionally timed 5K with themed kids races and a post-race gathering at Creekside Plaza.

Children’s races use short loops near the fountain and a slightly longer route through Creekside Park. Instead of water stations, candy stations are placed along the kids courses, and costumes are encouraged. The 5K follows trails along Big Walnut Creek and is run with official timing.

Every participant receives a race bib, an event T-shirt, and an official race time for timed entries. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, and prizes are awarded for the three best costumes across all ages. Music and a post-race celebration are part of the event at Creekside Plaza.

The event is hosted by Three Creeks Church. One hundred percent of proceeds support Design Outreach and other local and global nonprofit partners. Entry fees are listed at $40 for the 5K and $10 for the Trick or Treat Trot, and registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
