Fall Foot Races
The Fall Foot Races are a multi-distance running event in Central Oregon presented by the Central Oregon Running Klub in partnership with Run Bend. The event combines new distances with established races, and is scheduled for Sunday, October 4, 2026, with an additional youth race option on a weekday in October to be determined.
Course highlights include paved bike paths and river trails through the Old Mill and River parks, with scenic views of the Deschutes River and surrounding mountains. The half marathon and 10K are point-to-point courses that start near the Cascade Lakes Welcome Center and finish at Riverbend Park; the half marathon features about 500 feet of elevation loss in its first half and flatter paths in the second half. The Bigfoot 10K is a longstanding Bend race that also uses a downhill course with nearly 500 feet of elevation loss. The Fleet Foot 5K is a loop around the Old Mill and River parks, starting and finishing at Riverbend Park.
Distances:
- Fall Foot Half : half marathon, point-to-point finishing at Riverbend Park
- Bigfoot 10K : 10 kilometer, point-to-point with significant elevation loss
- Fleet Foot 5K : 5 kilometer loop starting and finishing at Riverbend Park
- Little Foot Kid’s Run : youth races with 500 meter and half mile options
Additional notes: the Bigfoot 10K is a fundraiser for local high school cross country teams and has donated over $50,000 to local programs. Packet pickup is organized in advance and volunteers are needed for aid stations and finish line support. The Central Oregon Running Klub is a nonprofit 501c3 organization founded in 1976.
