Course and policies
Racing takes place on roads that remain open to traffic. Strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course, and dogs are not allowed at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds. The event proceeds rain or shine; the organizer may delay a start if conditions are dangerous (for example, thunder and lightning). Walkers are allowed, subject to the noon cutoff.
Changes, refunds and transfers
Distance changes are permitted before the event date; switching down from the half to the 5K may be possible without refund. Refunds are issued for cancellations made before September 15, 2026. After that date, one deferral to the following year is permitted through October 5, 2026. Bib transfers are not allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
