Faith in Motion Liberty 5K
The Faith in Motion Liberty 5K is a community running event held at Liberty Community Church, 3940 Liberty Road, Gold Hill, NC 28071. Parking and race check-in are located across the street at the ball field. All proceeds benefit the Liberty Community Church Youth Group Fund.
Distances include:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 0.5 mile Fun Run for ages 10 and under
Entry fees are specified for each event. The 5K has a pre-registration fee of $30 valid through October 2, 2026; a higher race day fee is listed for same-day entries. The Fun Run entry fee is $10 for ages 10 and under for both pre-registration and race day.
Dry fit T-shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registered 5K runners and walkers and are available on race day while supplies last. For participant safety, dogs are not allowed in the race.
Awards are given in multiple categories: top three overall male and female in the 5K, top male and female masters in the 5K, top three in each age group for male and female in the 5K, and top three overall in the Fun Run. Overall winners are not eligible for age group awards and awards will not be mailed. Age groups are 10 & Under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over.
