Fairfield Police Sunset 5K - Presented by Moneco Advisors
The Fairfield Police Sunset event is a fundraising running and walking event held in Fairfield, Connecticut, finishing at Jennings Beach. Proceeds are donated to the Fairfield Police Union Scholarship Fund and the Fairfield Police Foundation. The event includes a community sock drive collecting new white socks for Nourish Bridgeport.

The 5K is computer chip timed; participants must complete the full course to be eligible for age-group awards. Top three men and women receive awards and age-group medals are given through standard age brackets. Awards are distributed at the finish tent and unclaimed awards are available at Marathon Sports through a stated pickup window.
All paid race and walk entries include a shirt, food, and post-event fluids. Spectators and non-registered guests who want access to food must purchase a separate food ticket. The event has a 1000-person limit and registration fees are fixed; registration fees are nonrefundable. The course starts on Fairfield Beach Road and ends in the Jennings Beach parking lot; the 5K course is certified.
