Fairchance Construction Octoberfest 5k Run/Walk and Mom Maruca's Beer Mile & Beer Mile Relay
This event takes place in Uniontown, Pennsylvania on October 3, 2026, at 64 Barton Mill Road. It includes multiple race formats organized to benefit the Uniontown Area High School track team.
The program includes a 5K run and a 5K walk, a Beer Mile and Beer Mile relays, a kids root beer run for ages 14 and under, a corporate beer mile relay, and a combined 5K plus beer mile option. Relay teams for the beer mile must have four paid members.
Distances in the event set:
- 5K run and 5K walk
- 1 mile Beer Mile
- 1/2 mile Kids Root Beer Run
- 1/4 mile relay legs
Beer Mile participation requires age 21 or older and proper identification. Solo Beer Mile entrants who complete the full event are required to have a designated driver; relay participants are not subject to that requirement. The beer mile relay consists of four quarter mile legs with one beer per leg.
Awards are planned for top runners and age group finishers in the 5K, top three male and female Beer Mile finishers, and top three relay teams. Additional items include guaranteed T shirts for early registrants, a souvenir root beer mug for kids, a prize for best Bavarian costume, and a limited beer glass giveaway.
