Fairchance Construction Octoberfest 5k Run/Walk and Mom Maruca's Beer Mile & Relay
The event takes place on October 3, 2026, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania at 64 Barton Mill Road. The program includes a 5K run, a 5K walk, the Mom Maruca Beer Mile, a four-person Beer Mile Relay, a Kids Root Beer Run for ages 14 and under, a Corporate Beer Mile Relay, and a combined 5K+Beer Mile option. Net race proceeds will benefit the Uniontown Area High School track team.
Details
- 5 km event for run and walk.
- 1/2 mile Kids Root Beer Run (ages 14 and under).
- 1/4 mile legs for the Beer Mile Relay (four legs; one beer per leg).
Beer Mile participants must be 21 or older and will be required to show proper ID. Individuals running the full Beer Mile must have a designated driver; relay participants are exempt from that requirement. Awards will be given to top runners and age groups in the 5K, to the top three male and female Beer Mile finishers, and to the top three relay teams. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by Thursday, September 26; after that they are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 200 entrants will receive a beer glass, and those over 21 receive one pour of the race’s Beer Mile Blonde. Parking is available at the New South Union Rec Center, Bailey Park, and the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. Early packet pickup is available at the event partner venue, Mom Marucas.
