Fabulous Fahnestock Trail Races
The Fabulous Fahnestock Trail Races take place in Fahnestock State Park near Cold Spring, NY on August 15, 2026. The event offers multiple trail distances and uses a mix of terrain, including runnable dirt roads, technical single track, old rail beds, lakeside sections, long climbs, and flowy descents.

- 5.5 Miler
Race services include multiple full-service aid stations, on-course hydration and food, a post-race meal, event swag, and on-site parking. The series is organized by Run Wild, a nonprofit focused on land conservation; a large portion of proceeds is donated back to Fahnestock State Park.
Registration and policies: registration closes on Fri, Aug 14 at 11:59 PM ET. Full refunds are available through 2026-07-01; no refunds or deferrals after that date. Registrations after 2026-07-15 may not include event swag. Active military, veterans, and first responders receive a 25% discount with code MILITARY. Runners may drop from the 50K to the 25K distance, including mid-race; any price difference is non-refundable. Upgrades to a longer distance require contacting the race directors.
