Fabulous Fahnestock Trail Races
The Fabulous Fahnestock Trail Races take place in Fahnestock State Park near Cold Spring, New York on August 15, 2026. The event offers multiple trail distances to choose from:
- 50K
- 25K
- 5.5 Miler
The course traverses varied terrain, from highly runnable dirt roads to technical single-track. Runners encounter long climbs, flowy descents, lakes and ponds, old dirt roads and abandoned rail beds. Multiple full-service aid stations and generous cut offs are provided on course.
Registration includes on-course hydration and food, a post-race meal, event swag, and on-site parking. Full refunds are available until July 1, 2026; no refunds or deferrals are offered after that date. Registrations after July 15, 2026 do not guarantee event swag and are subject to availability. Active Military & Veterans and First Responders receive a 25% discount using the code MILITARY at checkout.
Participants registered for the 50K may drop to the 25K, including mid-race, with any price difference treated as non-refundable. Upgrades to a longer distance require contacting the race organizers. The race series is organized by the Run Wild nonprofit; proceeds support land conservation, with a portion donated back to Fahnestock State Park.
