Fabulous Fahnestock Trail Races
The Fabulous Fahnestock Trail Races are a group of trail events held at Fahnestock State Park near Cold Spring, NY, with a start location at 75 Mountain Laurel Ln. The courses use a mix of highly runnable dirt roads, technical single track, old dirt roads, and abandoned rail beds. Runners encounter long climbs, lakes and ponds, and flowy descents along the trails.
Event options include the following distances:
- 50K
- 25K
- 5.5 Miler
Registration includes full on course support with hydration and food, a post race meal, event swag when available, and on site parking. Generous cut offs and multiple full service aid stations are provided. Participants may drop from the 50K to the 25K, including mid race, though any price difference is non refundable. Active military, veterans, and first responders are eligible for a 25 percent discount using the code MILITARY at checkout.
Full refunds are available until 7/1/26; no refunds or deferrals are offered after 7/1/26. Registration after 7/15/26 does not guarantee event swag and is subject to availability. The race series is organized by Run Wild, a nonprofit that donates proceeds toward land conservation and improvements at Fahnestock State Park.
