Fabulous Fahnestock Trail Races
The Fabulous Fahnestock Trail Races take place in Fahnestock State Park near Cold Spring, NY on August 15, 2026. The event offers multiple trail distances that follow a mix of dirt roads, single track, old rail beds and pondside sections. Terrain ranges from highly runnable dirt roads to technical single track with long climbs, flowy descents, and sections that pass lakes and ponds.
Race services include multiple full service aid stations, on-course hydration and food, a post race meal, event swag and on-site parking. The event has generous cutoffs and offers support intended to help finishers. The series is produced by Run Wild, a non-profit organization focused on land conservation, and a large portion of proceeds will be donated to Fahnestock State Park.
Registration and entry policies stated for this event include full refunds available until July 1, 2026 and no refunds or deferrals after that date. Registration after July 15, 2026 does not guarantee event swag. Active military, veterans and first responders receive a 25% discount using code MILITARY. Runners may drop from the 50K to the 25K including mid-race, with any price difference treated as non-refundable; upgrades require contacting the race directors.
