2026 FAAP Fall Classic
The FAAP Fall Classic is a cross country running and walking event held within North Park in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. This event marks its 19th year of operation, with proceeds directed toward supporting an orphanage in the Philippines. The courses are set on the local trail system, including sections of the Rachel Carson Trail, coinciding with the beginning of the fall foliage season in Western Pennsylvania.
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 20k trail race
- 10k trail race
- 5k trail race
The event features cultural elements, including a folk dancing performance scheduled for the conclusion of the races. Participants receive handmade bamboo medal awards. All races begin and end at the Harmar Pavilion located on South Ridge Drive.
Specific logistics for the venue indicate that there is no parking available for participants directly at the Harmar Pavilion. Instead, those attending are directed to use the North Park Swimming Pool parking area. From this parking lot, the pavilion is accessible via a walk of approximately 0.10 to 0.25 miles.
