Ezra J. Hartke Race for Hope
The Ezra J. Hartke Race for Hope is an annual running and walking event held in Tipp City, Ohio. The eighth edition of this event is scheduled for mid-November at Kyle Park. Participants can choose between several distance options and participation formats, including in-person and virtual categories.
The event offers the following distances:
- 10 km run (timed)
- 5 km run (timed)
- 5 km walk (not timed)
- Virtual 5 km
The running categories are officially timed, and awards are presented to the overall male and female winners in both the 5 km and 10 km distances. Recognition is also provided for participants across several age groups: 15 and under, 16-30, 31-45, 46-60, and 61 and over. Children aged 5 and under may participate for free, though this registration type does not include a shirt.
In-person participants who register by the late October deadline receive an event T-shirt. Discounted rates are available for youth participants aged 6 to 18 and for groups registering as a team of 10 or more people.
