Event Overview
This is the 8th annual Ezra J. Hartke Race for Hope. The event takes place on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Kyle Park in Tipp City, Ohio. Proceeds support Dayton Children’s Hospital and pediatric brain tumor research.
Distances
The race features four event options:
- 5 km walk
- 5 km run
- 10 km run
- 5 km virtual run
Registration Details
Registration prices increase after November 7, 2026. Standard in-person entry fees are:
- 5K Walk: $30 (includes t-shirt)
- 5K Run: $35 (includes t-shirt)
- 10K Run: $35 (includes t-shirt)
- Virtual 5K: $25 (no t-shirt)
Discounts are available for teams of 10 or more ($5 per person) and for participants aged 6-18 ($5 discount). Participants aged 5 and under can register for free but do not receive a t-shirt. In-person registrations must be received by October 30, 2026, to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
Awards
Awards will be presented for the 5K and 10K run events in the following men's and women's categories: Overall, 15 & Under, 16-30, 31-45, 46-60, and 60+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
