Expo Park XC

Expo Park XC is an old school cross-country meet in Aurora, Colorado, scheduled tentatively for Sep 20, 2026. The event takes place at Exposition Park, near S. Moline and E Exposition Ave.

The courses are almost entirely grass and are mostly flat with small undulations. The 3 km and 5 km races begin with a 1 km loop followed by a 2 km loop. Both loops include a wooden footbridge, several concrete path crossings, a creek crossing, and bale jumps. Spikes are welcome but the concrete path crossings will not be covered.

Several races are held for different ages and distances:

5 km open (all ages)
~1 km kids, 6 and under
2 km for 8 and under, combined genders
3 km for 10 and under, combined genders
3 km for 12 and under, combined genders
4 km for 14 and under, combined genders

Organizers plan to keep the posted schedule but will not start a race until racers from a prior race are near finishing. Awards are presented shortly after each race. Results from previous years are available for 2023, 2024, and 2025. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
