Expo Park XC
Expo Park XC takes place on Sep 20, 2026 at Exposition Park, S. Moline and E Exposition Ave, Aurora, CO 80012. The event features old school cross-country on grass with natural obstacles.
The courses are almost all grass and mostly flat with uneven sections, small undulations, and some roots. The 3k and 5k races begin with a 1k loop followed by a 2k loop. Both loops include a wooden footbridge, several concrete path crossings, a creek crossing, and bale jumps. Spikes are welcome but the concrete paths are not covered.
Race program includes multiple distances and age categories:
- 5k Open, all ages
- ~1k Kids, 6 and under, free
- 2k 8 and under, combined genders
- 3k 10 and under, combined genders
- 3k 12 and under, boys and girls separate
- 4k 14 and under, combined genders
Adult teams are organized as teams of three or more with the same entry fee. Youth coaches can contact the organizer for team discounts and registration arrangements. Awards are presented shortly after each race. Results and event photos are available for prior years including 2023 through 2025. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
