Event overview
EXCLAMATION 5.0 is a last-runner-standing endurance race held in Roxton, Texas, with the start and finish at the Chaparral Museum (104 Harrison Ave., Roxton, TX 75477). The course is made up of repeated 5-mile out-and-back loops called an Exclamation. New Exclamations begin every hour and each Exclamation must be completed within one hour. Attempts continue until one runner remains.

The race awards include a percentage of registration fees for the Lone Wolf winner and a prize for the fastest fifth Exclamation.
Course, rules and facilities
The loop course is designed to form an exclamation mark, with the dot at the start/finish. Aid stations provide limited snacks such as water, soda, electrolyte product, chips, candy, and fruit; runners are advised to carry their own fuel and hydration. No aid is allowed during an Exclamation - assistance is permitted only at the start/finish. Pacers, crew, family, and pets are allowed but must follow race rules.

- Quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- No parking on the course, grass areas, private property, or blocking driveways
