12th Annual EWC 5K Race & Kids Fun Run
This event is a fundraiser for the nonprofit youth program Edwardsville Wrestling Club. EWC's Mission is to enrich the lives of its wrestlers and their families through the sport of wrestling.
The 5K course begins at Edwardsville High School, follows the MCT trails, and leads back to the Jon Davis Wrestling Center. Event options include in-person and virtual races and a kids obstacle course.

Awards are given to the top three finishers in each of the male and female age categories: 10 & Under, 11-12, 13-15, 16-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-55, and 55+. Additional trophies and gift card prizes are awarded to the top male and top female finishers.
The Kids Obstacle Course Fun Run takes place around the Jon Davis Wrestling Center and includes five obstacles, one of which is a bounce house. Kids are separated by age groups and each participant receives a medal after completing the course.
The post race party includes games, hot chocolate, popcorn, and a bounce house. Registration fees listed for the event options are $30 for the 5K and virtual 5K and $20 for the Fun Run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
