Eveline 5K Fun Run
The Kachemak Bay Running Club, in association with the Kachemak Nordic Ski Club, is sponsoring a 5-kilometer fun run and walk to raise funds for the Eveline State Recreation Park. The course is a point to point route from McNeil Canyon Elementary School to Eveline State Recreation Site, following Old East End Road. The event takes place on August 8 at Eveline State Recreation Site in Fritz Creek, 99603.
Registration opens July 1. Fee structure is: individual $15 for members (KBRC or KNSC), $20 for non-members, $25 on race day; family $25 for members, $30 for non-members, $35 on race day. Children aged 10 or younger are free. A free shuttle will run from Eveline to McNeil Canyon Elementary School. Race day registration is available and race day fees apply as noted above.
