Eveline 5K Fun Run
The Eveline 5K Fun Run is a community 5 kilometer run and walk organized by the Kachemak Bay Running Club in association with the Kachemak Nordic Ski Club. The event raises funds for the Eveline State Recreation Park and takes place at Eveline State Recreation Site in Fritz Creek, postal code 99603, on August 8, 2026.
The course is a point to point route from McNeil Canyon Elementary School to Eveline State Park along Old East End Road, described as scenic. Registration opens on July 1. Entry fees are structured by membership and family status: individual registration is $15 for members, $20 for non members, and $25 on race day; family registration is $25 for members, $30 for non members, and $35 on race day. Children aged 10 or younger are free.
