Eveline 5K Fun Run
The Kachemak Bay Running Club, in association with the Kachemak Nordic Ski Club, is sponsoring a 5 kilometer fun run and walk on August 8 to raise funds for the Eveline State Recreation Site. The event is a point to point course that runs from McNeil Canyon Elementary School to Eveline State Park via Old East End Road.
Registration opens July 1. Fees are specified by category: individual registration is $15 for members of KBRC or KNSC and $20 for non members, with a higher fee on race day. Family registration is $25 for members and $30 for non members, with a higher fee on race day. Children aged 10 or younger may participate free of charge.
