Event Overview

The Evansville 4th of July Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The event is based at Lake Leota Park in Evansville, Wisconsin. It offers several running and walking distances.

Location and Course

All events start and finish at Lake Leota Park. The courses wind around Lake Leota and through historic streets in Evansville. For safety, pets and animals are not permitted on the course with participants, with the exception of trained service animals.

Events and Registration

The event includes four different races and walks. The registration price for each event is $25.

  • WALK - Mini Mile or 5K
  • Mini Mile RUN
  • 5K RUN
  • 10K RUN

Registration opens on April 1, 2026. Those who register by June 15, 2026, are guaranteed a timing chip and a collector's edition t-shirt; registrations after this date do not have a t-shirt guarantee. There will be two water stations along the 5K and 10K courses.

Additional Information
