About the race
The Evansville 4th of July Run/Walk takes place at Lake Leota Park in Evansville, WI. The courses wind around the lake and continue through the town's historic streets. The event offers multiple distance options and a separate walking option.
Available distances and formats:
- Mini Mile (1 mile)
- 5K run
- 10K run
- Mini Mile or 5K walk
Registration opens April 1. Entry fees vary by registration date: April 1–30 $25 with children under 13 $15; May 1–June 15 $30 with children under 13 $15; after June 15 $35 with children under 13 $20. Registrants who register by June 15 are guaranteed a collectors edition T-shirt; registrations after that date are not guaranteed a shirt.
For safety, pets and other animals are not permitted on the course route, except for service animals that are trained to perform specific work or tasks for a person with a disability.
