Evan Kratochwill Memorial Community 2 Mile Run/Walk
This invitational includes a community 2-mile cross country run/walk held at Glacier Creek Middle School in Cross Plains, Wisconsin. The event is organized by Middleton High School Cross Country as part of a memorial invitational and includes both an in-person and a virtual option.
Packet pickup is available the evening before at Glacier Creek Middle School (near the 5th grade wing and gym). In-person packet pickup and registration are offered on race morning at the school. Online registration is listed at $25 and in-person or race-day registration is listed at $30. Registrations completed by September 24 are guaranteed a shirt; a limited number of extra shirts will be available at in-person registration.
The two-mile course is laid out on cross country terrain, with the one-mile point marked and a course map provided. Participants are asked to park in the front and side lots of the school; the back lot will be reserved for athletes, volunteers, and buses. Live results will be available on site through a timing service with a large electronic display at the finish.
Proceeds and donations support course maintenance, race day logistics and enhancements, and Middleton High School Cross Country programs.
