Etowah River Park Summer Classic - 5K / 10K
The event is a road race at Etowah River Park in Canton, Georgia, offering two distances:
- 5K (3.1 Miles) : USATF certified course GA18105WC
- 10K (6.2 Miles) : USATF certified course GA23084WC
Entry fees listed are $36.00 for the 5K and $40.00 for the 10K. Registration opens February 24, 2026, and closes February 28, 2026. To guarantee a race T-shirt, participants must register and select a shirt size by July 9.
The 10K includes a club and team competition. Teams must register under a club or team name and have at least 10 members to be eligible for scoring. The top five finishers from each team are used to determine team placement. Individual and team awards are part of the results.
Cash prizes are offered for top 10K finishers and teams: top three male and female 10K finishers receive $325, $125, and $75 respectively. Team prizes for the top three teams are $400, $225, and $100, with $300 awarded to the team with the most 10K registrations. Fleet Feet Canton provides shoe vouchers for overall winners and podium finishers in both distances.
Timing uses RFID with live results. Professional photography by True Speed Photos is included with registration. Early packet pickup is available August 5 at the Etowah River Park Amphitheater and an additional pickup option on August 6 (details TBD).
