Escape Through The Cape

The Escape Through The Cape is a running event held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Cape Saint Claire Elementary School in Annapolis, Maryland. The event features two distances: a timed 5k Run/Walk and a non-timed 1 Mile Fun Run.

All participants who finish receive a custom finisher medal. A short sleeve technical shirt, available in youth to adult sizes, is guaranteed for those who register by April 1, 2026. First place awards are given in multiple age categories for the 5k run only.

The event includes a Fit Family Festival with free activities for children, refreshments after the race, and a variety of local vendors. The race is held as a fundraiser for the Cape Saint Claire Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), which supports the local elementary school.
