The ESC Hero Run takes place on May 23, 2026, in Edwardsburg, MI, hosted at the Edwardsburg Sports Complex, 27566 US 12, Edwardsburg, MI 49112. The event is a fundraiser for the Edwardsburg Sports Complex, a nonprofit whose mission is "to develop, operate and maintain a regional facility that enriches the quality of life for families and provides future generations with a place to grow and play." A portion of the funds raised will be given to the local Veterans Helping Veterans organization of the VFW. The run honors veterans, active duty military, and public servants.

The 5K begins at the Edwardsburg Sports Complex, runs through a portion of the village of Edwardsburg, and finishes back at the complex. The 2K is presented as a run/walk option suitable for families. Before the race there will be recognition of heroes with a special t-shirt and a certificate. Local police and fire departments will bring a police car and a fire engine for children to see.
