Event Details

The ESC Hero Run takes place on Saturday, May 23, 2026. The event is held at the Edwardsburg Sports Complex, located at 27566 US 12 in Edwardsburg, Michigan. The run is organized to honor veterans, active duty military, and public servants, while also serving as a fundraiser. A portion of the money raised will be given to the local "Veterans Helping Veterans" organization.

Courses and Activities

Two main courses are offered:

A 5K run that begins at the Edwardsburg Sports Complex, goes through a portion of the village of Edwardsburg, and finishes back at the complex.
A 2K run/walk.

Before the events begin, a ceremony recognizes honored participants with a special t-shirt and certificate. The local police and fire department are scheduled to bring a police car and a fire engine for viewing.

Awards and Amenities

Medals are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for men and women in all age categories, which include children. Prizes will be awarded. Snacks will be provided at the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
