5k Fun Run x ERIS Brewery & Cider House
This event is a community-focused, untimed 5k fun run hosted at ERIS Brewery and Cider House in Chicago as part of the 2026 Illinois Brewery Running Series. The route starts and finishes at the brewery taproom and follows a clearly marked course through the surrounding neighborhood. Roads on the course remain open to traffic, so participants are asked to follow all traffic laws.
Registration includes one craft cider at the finish, a choice of Brewery Running Series swag (collector’s pint glass or a seasonal item), and entry into a prize drawing for merch and beer. The post-run area features music, games, giveaways, and partner booths. Ten percent of proceeds are designated to support local nonprofits.
Event guidelines note that a valid ID is required for on-site beverage service; participants under 21 receive a nonalcoholic beverage. The event proceeds rain or shine, though activities may change if conditions make running unsafe. There is no bag check on site. Dogs and strollers are permitted with appropriate care and in accordance with ERIS policies. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event.
