ERIS Brewery & Cider House 5k Fun Run
This event is a 5k fun run hosted at ERIS Brewery and Cider House in Chicago, part of the 2026 Illinois Brewery Running Series. The course is untimed and open, with clearly marked routes designed to start and end at the brewery taproom. Roads along the course remain open during the run and participants must follow all traffic laws.
Registration includes one craft cider at the finish, a choice of Brewery Running Series swag (collector’s pint glass or a seasonal item), and entry into a prize drawing. Post-run offerings include music, games, giveaways, and partner items. Ten percent of proceeds support local nonprofits.
Event-day notes state that a valid ID is required; participants under 21 receive a nonalcoholic beverage instead. Dogs and strollers are allowed with care and subject to ERIS policies. There is no bag check, so participants should plan and dress accordingly. The event is planned rain or shine; if running is unsafe due to weather, the brewery gathering will still proceed in some form.
