EquiSol Race Series Summer Solstice 5k
EquiSol Race Series Summer Solstice 5k is the second of four races in a series timed around the equinoxes and solstices. The event benefits the Gwinnett Parks Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that supports Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation through volunteer labor and monetary assistance.
The race takes place at McDaniel Farm Park, 3020 McDaniel Road, Duluth GA 30096. The single distance offered is 3.1 Miles. Registration opens 12/17/2025 and closes 04/30/2026; the registration fee is $30.00. Packet pick up is scheduled the morning of the event. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by 05/31/2026; after that shirts are available at the registration table after the event on a first come first serve basis.
Medals for the series are designed to magnetically link together to form a larger medal map of Gwinnett County parks. The first 200 on-site participants will receive medals at the event. If additional medals are needed organizers will order more and either ship them to participants or make them available for pick up when ready. If a participant misses a race and leftover medals remain, a virtual option may be opened so the missing medal can be obtained.
