EquiSol Race Series (A Park for All Seasons) - Summer Solstice 5k
The Summer Solstice 5k is the second event in a four-race series held in 2026 that benefits the Gwinnett Parks Foundation. The series schedules one race each quarter on or near an equinox or solstice and is organized in partnership with Performance Race Services and the Gwinnett Parks Foundation.
Each race awards a medal that magnetically links with the others to form a large medal map of Gwinnett County and its parks. Due to advance ordering, the first 200 runners at this event will receive medals on site; additional medals will be ordered and shipped or made available for later pick up if needed. A $20 refund is offered for participants who refer five others.
Location details list McDaniel Farm Park, 3020 McDaniel Road, Duluth GA 30096. Restroom facilities are noted near the parking lot. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by 05/31/2026; after that date shirts may be available at the registration table on a first come first serve basis. A course map is available on MapMyRun. The event is offered as a 5k and is part of a bundled option that includes a discount when registering for all four races.
