Elevate 5K 2026
The Elevate 5K is an annual walk/run event held at George Pierce Park in Suwanee, Georgia. Organized by the Gwinnett Pearls of Service Foundation, Inc. in partnership with the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Upsilon Alpha Omega Chapter, the event is entering its fourth year. The proceeds from the race are used to support community programs and provide scholarships for local high school students.
Participants can choose from several distance options:
- 5K (For participants aged 13 and older)
- 1.5K Kids Fun Run (For children aged 12 and under)
- Virtual 5K (Can be completed from any location)
The in-person course is USATF certified and has previously served as a qualifier for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race. Timing services are professionally managed using chip technology. All registered participants, whether in-person or virtual, receive a race day shirt and a finisher medal. Pets are not permitted at the event.
Packet pickup is required for all participants, with specific locations to be determined. Individuals who register by the designated deadlines are guaranteed an event t-shirt. In addition to the physical races, the event features an opening ceremony and a warm-up session prior to the start. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
