EpicTrails 8km - Hunting out more trails
EpicTrails offers a 8 km trail run using headtorches that starts from Milngavie Train Station and explores nearby routes including the Clyde Coastal Path and the West Highland Way, along with other local trails.
A qualified guide will lead the run. Guides are described as experienced, insured and first aid trained.
These runs are social rather than competitive. Participants will regroup at various points and no one is left behind. Pace will vary with route and distance, and group size is kept manageable to support participant safety.
Dogs and under 18s are not permitted due to insurance restrictions. Required kit depends on route and time of year and is detailed in the run brief. Always mandatory are trail shoes and a headtorch; no kit means no participation.
The events operate not for profit. Entry fees first cover event costs and any surplus is donated to a local charity on a periodic basis. The listed entry fee is £3 and total places are capped at 14. Refunds are given only if requested and no refunds are issued for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
