ACORN South By Five, Kings Park
This entry is for one event only, not the full series. The Kings Park event is a 5km run scheduled for Sunday 1 November 2026 and forms part of the South By Five series, which visits six parks over a 12 week period.
The series visits the following parks on the dates shown: Kings Park on Sunday 1 November, Linn Park on Sunday 15 November, Rouken Glen on Sunday 29 November, Pollok Park on Sunday 13 December, Bellahouston Park on Sunday 3 January, and Queens Park on Sunday 17 January. To complete the series and earn the "Fiver" designation, runners must finish at least five of the six races.
All races are free to enter, but a mandatory minimum donation is required for the Acorn Trails Community Fund. Places are limited and transfers or a waiting list may be available. Series entries include an attendance condition: if a participant misses two of the first three events their series place may be withdrawn and offered to the waiting list with no refund.
Additional options are available during entry, including South By Five merchandise; merch orders close on August 31st. The final race will be followed by a gathering and prize giving at a local bowling club near Queens Park. Each park will host an organised litter pick with details announced nearer the dates.
