About the race
EpicTrails organises a guided night trail run of approximately 6 km from Milngavie Train Station, G62 8PG. The route uses local trails including sections of the Clyde Coastal Path and the West Highland Way and other nearby paths. The event is run as a social group rather than a race; runners will regroup at points along the route, no one is left behind, and pace will vary depending on distance and terrain. Group sizes are kept manageable to support participant safety.
A guide will lead the run; guides are described as qualified, experienced, insured and first aid trained. Dogs and people under 18 are not permitted due to insurance restrictions. Mandatory kit varies by route and season and will be detailed in the run brief; items that are always required are trail shoes and a headtorch, and the organiser states that no kit means no run. The event is operated not for profit: fees first cover costs and any surplus is donated periodically to a local charity. The listed entry fee is £3 and total places are limited to 16.
