2026 EOD Warrior 5k & Half
This event offers two distances that take place along the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path in the Georgetown area of Washington, DC. The half marathon starts and finishes in Georgetown near the Potomac Boat Club. The 5K starts and finishes at Fletcher’s Boathouse. Walkers are welcome and a virtual race option is available.

Both courses run on the C&O Canal path, a light gravel trail with minimal elevation change, and are organised as out-and-back routes. The half marathon course includes multiple water stations placed along the route; there are seven stations at approximate mile markers for the half and one station for the 5K. Some water stations will also provide Gatorade. Restroom facilities include port-a-johns near the check-in area at Georgetown and building restrooms at Fletcher’s Boathouse. There is no official bag check; items may be left at the timing table but organisers are not responsible for valuables.
Runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. Live results will be posted on Athlinks with a QR code available at the event and final race results with series points will be posted the Monday after the race. Points from this event count toward the Year-Long 5K, Endurance, Back of the Pack, and Spring Series. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place in multiple age categories; overall top three are not eligible for age group prizes.
