About the race
The English Riviera Festival is a multi-event race day organised by Sportiva Events at Torre Abbey Meadows, The Kings Drive, Torquay, Devon, UK (TQ2 5JE). The event centre includes a sea swim from Torre Abbey Sands beach and a closed-road bike circuit described as a fairly flat 5 km loop. The bike circuit requires four laps for Sprint competitors and eight laps for Standard competitors.
Facilities and event services listed by the organiser include finishers medals and podium awards, professional event photography, branded silicone swim hats and a water bottle, personalised race numbers for early entries, secure transition area with numbered racking, professional first aid and water safety, a fully marked and marshalled course, public liability insurance, professional chip timing, and an event permit from British Triathlon. Optional event merchandise includes organic cotton or technical t-shirts made from recycled bottles.
