Event Overview
The English Riviera Triathlon takes place at Torquay in Devon, featuring a variety of multi-sport distances. The event is characterized by being the only triathlon in Devon held on a completely closed road bike course. The cycling segment consists of a relatively flat 5 km lap, with participants completing a specific number of laps depending on their chosen distance.
For the upcoming 2026 edition, the Sprint distance triathlon and the Sprint distance aquabike are designated as drafting races. The Standard distance events remain non-drafting. The competition is registered with British Triathlon and features professional chip timing and fully marshalled courses.
