Event overview
The English Riviera Triathlon takes place on 5 July 2026 at The Kings Drive, Torquay, Devon, TQ2 5JE. The event is organised by Sportiva Events and is British Triathlon registered. The course uses a flat, closed road bike lap of around 5 km. For 2026 the Sprint distance and the Sprint aquabike are designated drafting races, while the Standard distance remains non-drafting. Entry fees range from £36 to £85 depending on the race.

- Sprint Triathlon: 750 m swim, 20K bike, 5K run

- Supersprint Triathlon: 300 m swim, 10K bike, 2.5K run
- Tristar 2 or 3 Triathlon: 300 m swim, 5K bike, 2K or 2.5K run
- Sprint Triathlon Relay: 750 m swim, 20K bike, 5K run
On-course services and eligibility
The event provides professional chip timing, medals for finishers, silicone swim hats and an event t-shirt or beanie. Safety and logistics include professional first aid, water safety, fully marked and marshalled course, feed stations, and drinks in biodegradable paper cups. Age eligibility varies by race: Tristar entrants are aged 11 to 14 on 31/12/2026; most sprint races are open to those aged 15 and over; the Standard distance is open to those aged 17 and over.
