Endure Better Backyard Ultra
Endure Better Backyard Ultra is a Last Person Standing ultrarunning event on February 20, 2027, held at Se7en Wetlands Park, 500 W Carter Rd, Lakeland, Florida. The course is a single loop of 4.167 miles (6.7 km) that returns to a central homebase each lap.
A new loop begins every hour on the hour and all remaining runners start together at the bell. Runners must complete each loop within the hour to continue. Warnings are given at 3, 2, and 1 minute before each start; if a runner is not in the starting corral when the bell rings, their race is over. The race ends when a single runner completes a loop that no one else finishes; that runner is declared the winner and all other competitors record a DNF.
The course follows Florida trail and open field terrain with a short return spur into homebase. Crews are allowed and there is room for tents, chairs, coolers, and drop bags at homebase. No personal aid or pacers are permitted on the course; all support must occur at homebase. A staffed aid station at homebase is available every hour and supplies gels, drink mix, candy, chips, hot food, and water.
Entry deferral and refund rules: deferrals are allowed up to 45 days before the race for 50% credit toward the next year, credits expire after one year, and bib transfers are not permitted. Withdrawals inside 45 days receive no refund. Full refunds are given for eligible pregnancy or adoption events within the deferral deadline.
