Emmaus Halloween Parade 5K Race
The Emmaus Halloween Parade 5K is a community road race that benefits the Emmaus Parks system and the Emmaus Halloween Parade. The event encourages participants to run in costume and includes awards for both fastest finishers and best costumes.
The course begins at the intersection of 9th Street and Green Street and finishes at Triangle Park. The event location is listed as 849 Chestnut Street, Emmaus, PA 18049. Race number and shirt pick-up are available at the Keystone Running Store in Allentown and at the Emmaus High School Annex Lot.
Shirt size is guaranteed for registrations completed before October 2. The race follows the parade schedule; if the parade is postponed because of weather, the race will move to the event rain date.
Awards are distributed for overall finishers and costume winners, and age-group prizes are also given. Overall prizes for male and female 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place are cash awards of $100, $75, and $50. Costume prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place are cash awards of $75, $50, and $25. Age-group awards for 1st and 2nd place are offered in the following divisions with gift certificates: 8 and under; 9-11; 12-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 and over.
