BTC Triathlon Series : Middle Head, Mosman
The BTC Triathlon Series is a sprint triathlon held at Middle Head in Mosman on a scenic, traffic free course. The swim takes place in the sheltered waters of Obelisk Beach, the bike uses multiple laps of Chowder Bay Road, and the run goes through the historical barracks and bushland of Middle Head Reserve.
Race distances:
- 400 m swim : one lap starting and finishing at Obelisk Beach
- 15 km bike : five laps of Chowder Bay Road
- 4 km run : two laps on Middle Head Road and reserve bush tracks
Events are open to everyone. Entry fees per race are listed as $60 for BTC and Warringah Tri Club members, $70 for TA non BTC members, and $75 for non BTC or TA members. Transfer to another BTC race in the same season is allowed up to seven days before the event. If a race is postponed entries will be transferred to another BTC race in the same season where available; canceled events receive a full refund. No refunds or transfers are given for course changes.
