Native Trail Event in Essex
The Elves 11ish Trail is a native trail race that follows a circular route between Maldon and Mundon. This self-navigated event does not use marshals or directional arrows; instead, participants navigate the course using provided written instructions. The route covers approximately 11 Elvish miles and consists of 95% off-road terrain across a variety of surfaces.

The race begins and ends at the Maldon Saints Youth Football Club. Runners are timed individually from their specific departure time within a set starting window. Safety regulations require participants to refrain from using personal stereos or MP3 players to remain aware of their surroundings. It is advised that runners carry a mobile phone during the event.
