About the race
The Phoenix Striders Summer Series is a trail running event held at the Essex Wildlife Trust's Langdon Discovery Nature Park, part of Langdon Hills. The 2025 series culminates in Round 5, a 5k race consisting of two laps around a 2.5k trail circuit featuring natural terrain such as tree roots, cobbles, mud, and brambles. The event welcomes runners aged 12 and over and supports local charities including Essex Wildlife Trust, Finish Line Fund, and Essex & Herts Air Ambulance.
