Elmwood Rescue 5K Run/Walk
The event includes in-person and virtual options for a 5K run/walk and an in-person 1 Mile run/walk at Bess Streeter Aldrich Park in Elmwood, Nebraska. The in-person races take place on June 6, 2026, and the virtual 5K is held throughout June 2026.

- 1 Mile in-person
Entry fees are listed as $30 for the 5K and $20 for the 1 Mile. Each participant receives a shirt with the Elmwood Rescue 1 Mile/5K Run/Walk logo. Participants may choose to have shirts mailed for an additional $6 shipping fee; mailed shirts begin shipping on June 9. Registrations completed after May 15, 2026 must select the shipping and handling option to receive a shirt.
Top three finishers in each in-person event will receive awards. Race packet and shirt pick-up are available the day of the race at Bess Streeter Aldrich Park. Additional donations are accepted during registration.
Proceeds support Elmwood Volunteer Rescue, which provides 24/7 emergency medical services to Elmwood, Murdock, and Wabash areas with a crew of 18 volunteer members. Fundraising income is used for patient care supplies, personal protective equipment, equipment updates and maintenance, ambulance upkeep, ongoing training, tuition reimbursement for new volunteers, and new ambulance equipment.
