The Elm Street Athletic Festival takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in downtown Greensboro. The event begins and ends at 332 S Elm St, Greensboro, NC 27401, and the in-person course is described as a grand tour of Greensboro's central boulevard and surrounding neighborhoods. A portion of the proceeds will benefit a local brain cancer foundation. In 2025 the festival raised over $5,000 for the Brain Tumor Network and Aware Coaching.

- 1 Mile Youth Run (Elm Street Youth Mile)
- 1 Mile Survivors, Healers and Heroes Walk (survivors and friend/family options)
- Virtual Survivors, Healers and Heroes Walk (survivors and friend/family options)
The Elm Street Youth Mile is open to ages 1 - 19. Several events have set registration prices and deadlines; some virtual events and survivor entries have separate registration end dates and reduced or waived fees.
Included with registration and other services
In-person registration for the 10 Mile, 5K, and 1 Mile includes an Elm Street Athletic Festival T-shirt, a 2026 finisher's medal, a custom race bib, post-race food and drinks, race day photos, and the opportunity to win prizes.
