Elm Street Athletic Festival
The Elm Street Athletic Festival takes place in Greensboro, North Carolina on May 9, 2026. The fifth annual event centers on a 10 mile tour along Elm Street and nearby neighborhoods and includes multiple in-person and virtual race options.
A portion of the event proceeds will benefit a local brain cancer foundation to support regional brain and spine tumor patients and providers; the specific foundation will be announced later. The program includes a Survivors, Healers and Heroes one mile walk intended for brain tumor patients, family members, friends and caretakers, plus a youth one mile run.
Additional categories are offered, including designated chariot runner and chariot rider entries for the 10 mile and 5K distances. Virtual entries are available for the 10 mile, 5K and 1 mile options; virtual registration includes a finisher medal or shirt and free domestic shipping for virtual packets.
