23rd Annual Ellicott City Labor Day 10K and 5K
The event takes place on September 5, 2026 at the Shrine of St. Anthony, 12290 Folly Quarter Road, Ellicott City, MD. It offers multiple distance options on local roads and trails and is organized by the Knights of Columbus Council 11898.
Distances include:
- 10K road race through western Ellicott City countryside and surrounding neighborhoods
- 5K road and trail combo on roads and scenic trails on the Shrine property
- 1K kids fun run
- 1K walking event
Both the 10K and 5K are USATF certified. Chip timing is provided by Bullseye Running. Packet pick up takes place on Friday, Sept. 4 from 3-7 p.m. at Feet First, 5305 Village Center Drive, Suite 110, Columbia, MD 21044; packets can also be picked up on race day. Once inside the venue, participants will be directed where to park.
The event includes family-focused activities such as music, random prizes, a moonbounce, snow balls and refreshments. Awards include cash prizes of $75, $50 and $25 for overall 1st through 3rd male and female finishers in each race, plus non-cash awards and 1st through 3rd place awards in seven age group categories.
