32nd Annual Ellen's Run/Walk 2027
Ellen's Run/Walk in 2027 is organized by the Ellen Hermanson Foundation to raise funds for breast health services on the East End of Long Island. The event includes a road race and a short children's dash and supports free screenings, an oncological social worker program, emergency diagnostic grants, and micro-grants for basic needs related to medical appointments.
The main running distance is a 5K with start and finish located in front of Southampton Intermediate School. The course routes runners from Leland Lane onto Old Town Road, Herrick Road, Little Plains Road, and Gin Lane before returning to the school driveway for the finish. The Kiddie Dash takes place on the circular area in front of the Intermediate School and finishes at the same line.
Participants receive an Ellen's Run performance t-shirt, a commemorative bib, and finisher medals; children in the Kiddie Dash receive a fun run medal. Online recognition includes top male, female, and nonbinary overall awards, a top survivor award, and age-group recognition for first-place finishers across standard age brackets.
Parking is available in school lots off Narrow Lane and along Narrow Lane in Southampton. Registration is not yet open and will open prior to the event date. Live results and same-day finish line photos are provided online. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
