32nd Annual Ellen's Run/Walk - August 15, 2027
The 32nd Annual Ellen's Run/Walk is a community road race held in Southampton, with the 5K starting and finishing in front of the Southampton Intermediate School and a separate Kiddie Dash on the school circle.
The event supports the Ellen Hermanson Foundation and its breast health services, including free breast cancer screenings for uninsured and underserved women, a full-time oncological social worker offering group and individual therapy, emergency grants for diagnostic care, and micro-grants for groceries, childcare, and transportation to medical appointments.
Race amenities include an Ellen’s Run performance T-shirt, a commemorative bib, finisher medals, and a free Kiddie Dash where all children receive a fun run medal. Online recognition covers top male, female, and nonbinary overall finishers and a top survivor award. Age-group recognition is given to the top finisher in each listed age bracket from 9 and under through 80 plus.
The 5K course begins and ends at Southampton Intermediate School and follows local streets including Leland Lane, Old Town Road, Herrick Road, Little Plains Road, and Gin Lane. Parking is available in school lots off Narrow Lane and along Narrow Lane in Southampton.
