Ellen's Run/Walk
The 31st Annual Ellen's Run/Walk takes place on August 16, 2026 at Southampton Intermediate School, 70 Leland Lane, Southampton, NY. The event features a main 5K run/walk and a free Kiddie Dash for children on the circle in front of the school. All children in the Kiddie Dash receive a run medal at the finish.
Online registration is available through race day. The listed entry total is $54.50 including processing fees; a base registration line shows $50.00 with an additional transaction fee. Registered participants receive a commemorative bib and an event performance t-shirt; finisher medals are awarded.
The 5K course starts and finishes in front of the school. The route proceeds south on Leland Lane, continues via Old Town Road, Herrick Road, Little Plains Road and Gin Lane, returns on Old Town Road, and finishes in the school driveway.
Parking is available in school lots off Narrow Lane and along Narrow Lane. Race recognition includes top overall awards for male, female and non-binary categories, a top survivor award, and age group recognition across multiple brackets. Results and same-day finish line photos are provided online and by message. Funds raised support local breast health services, including free screenings for uninsured women, psychosocial support, emergency diagnostic grants and micro-grants for related needs.
