32nd Annual Ellen's Run/Walk 2027
The event is a community road race in Southampton that supports the Ellen Hermanson Foundation and local breast health services. Funds raised help provide free breast cancer screenings for uninsured and underserved women, a full-time oncological social worker and support programs, emergency diagnostic grants, and micro-grants for groceries, childcare, and transportation to medical appointments.
Course and distances include:
- 5K
- Kiddie Dash on the circle in front of the Southampton Intermediate School
The 5K starts and finishes in front of Southampton Intermediate School and follows local roads including Leland Lane, Old Town Road, Herrick Road, Little Plains Road, and Gin Lane before returning to the school driveway for the finish. The Kiddie Dash is a short family run on the school circle; all children receive a fun run medal.
Participant benefits listed include an Ellen’s Run performance t-shirt, a commemorative bib, and finisher medals. Online recognition includes top M/F/X overall and top survivor awards, and top age-group recognition across standard brackets up to 80+.
