The 31st Annual Ellen's Run/Walk (2026)
The event is a community 5K run/walk held on August 16, 2026 at Southampton Intermediate School, 70 Leland Lane, Southampton, NY. It raises funds to support local breast health services through the Ellen Hermanson Foundation; proceeds help provide free screenings for uninsured and underserved women, fund a full-time oncological social worker and support programs such as emergency diagnostic grants and micro-grants for groceries, childcare, and transportation to medical appointments.
Race-day offerings include organized participant amenities such as a performance t-shirt, a commemorative bib, and finisher medals. Recognition is provided for top overall finishers by gender and non-binary division, a top survivor award, and top finishers in age-group categories.

The 5K course begins and ends in front of the Intermediate School and follows local roads including Leland Lane, Old Town Road, Herrick Road, Little Plains Road and Gin Lane. Parking is available in school lots off Narrow Lane and along Narrow Lane. Online registration is available through race-day; bib pickup is handled at the school on race day.
