Elktoberfest Wine & Beer Run 5K
The Elktoberfest Wine & Beer Run 5K is an annual event held in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. The 2026 edition marks the fifth year of this competition, which combines a running event with local beverage offerings. The course takes participants through the scenic areas surrounding Elkhart Lake, starting and finishing near the Vintage Elkhart Lake Wine Shop.
Participants can choose between the following event options:
- 5k Run/Walk (3.1 miles)
The event features local craft beverages, specifically wine from the locally-owned Vintage Elkhart Lake Wine Shop and craft beer provided by 3 Sheeps Brewing. Every registered participant receives entry to the race, a finisher medal, and a souvenir wine glass that includes a pour of wine.
Standard registration does not include a commemorative shirt, though participants have the option to purchase one for an additional fee during the sign-up process. The event is located at 100 E Rhine St in Elkhart Lake. Registration for the 2026 race is scheduled to open in mid-March and close in late June.
