Distances
- 6 miles with about 1,225 ft of climbing.
- 14 miles with about 2,628 ft of climbing and reaching about 9,500 ft.

Finish time standards are set for each distance. Dog Tag and Pass time thresholds determine awards: finishing inside the Dog Tag time earns the Dog Tag; finishing inside the Pass time records an official completion. Outside the Pass time participants receive a handshake and a hug.
Routes start and finish at Staunton State Park Upper Parking Lot. There are no checkpoints; participants are solo and self-sufficient and must download the provided AllTrails route for offline navigation. Carry personal water, nutrition and a medical kit; bottled water is available at the finish only. Weather can change rapidly and terrain includes sustained climbing, uneven trail and rocky footing.
Cancellations are eligible for a GBF voucher if requested 30 or more days before the event; vouchers are valid one year. Ticket prices increase on listed dates. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
