EChO Turkey Trot - 16th Annual
The EChO Turkey Trot is a community 5K run and walk held on Thanksgiving morning with a virtual participation option. The event supports the EChO Food Pantry and other local assistance programs. The in-person venue is Evergreen Christian Outreach at 27888 Meadow Drive, Evergreen, CO 80439.
The course begins and ends in the EChO parking lot and passes through downtown Evergreen on Hwy 74, around the lake, and down the south staircase before returning to the parking lot. Stairs are part of the route, so strollers are not permitted. Participants are advised to take care if there is snow or ice and to use traction devices or shoes with good grip if needed.
Virtual participation runs November 23–26, 2026 and allows participants to run or walk from any location; virtual registrants receive a race bib by email. Pets are welcome on leash and costumes are encouraged for both in-person and virtual participants. Holiday pies are awarded to age group winners and for best team, human, and dog costumes.
Event services include packet pickup before race day on several dates, limited VIP parking (19 paid spaces), and two no-charge ADA parking spaces. Registration by November 1, 2026 guarantees a t-shirt; children ages 0–4 are not included in the t-shirt offering and the smallest available size is Youth 6/7.
