Elizabeth River Run 10K & Mile : Portsmouth, VA
The Tidewater Striders and the Portsmouth Children's Museum present the 47th running of the Elizabeth River Run on September 13, 2026, held in Downtown Portsmouth with start and finish by the pavilion. The 10K is on a certified, fast, flat course that runs through historic downtown streets and along the seawall. The Crawford Street Mile is an up and back course on Crawford Street with start and finish in front of the pavilion.

Entry fees for the 10K are tiered: early pricing and multiple later price increases are listed through race day. The mile also has tiered entry pricing. A no shirt option reduces the fee by $3. Strider Club discounts are available through the close of online registration.
Awards for the 10K include top three overall male and female finishers in overall, masters, youth, and five-year age groups through 75+. Prize money is listed for the top three overall and top masters finishers. A team competition is scored by age-graded results and awards the first place team the ERR Cup.
Post-race amenities include race shirts guaranteed for the first 750 runners, finishers medals, a post-race party at the pavilion with local craft beer, food, live music, and vendors.
